What You'll Do

Are you passionate about overseeing client relationships, ensuring exceptional service delivery, educating on service offerings, and driving Firm growth?  Cohen & Co is looking to expand our growth team with an experienced and results-driven Client Relationships leader who will act as a trusted advisor to our internal client Partners and Vertical Leaders, providing client insights and solutions that align with the Firm’s business objectives and growth strategies.  The Director, Client Relationships role requires understanding client needs, coordinating with the Firm’s internal teams to drive client strategies, with the ultimate goal of making a difference for our clients – paving a new path for enhanced client relationships.

 

  • Establish strong, professional, and ongoing relationships with key stakeholders within assigned clients, understanding their needs, providing tailored strategies, and ensuring satisfaction within our services
  • Monitor account performance and develop strategies for account growth and retention
  • Develop a broad understanding of Cohen & Co's capabilities to bring the best Cohen resources to address client growth and satisfaction opportunities alongside Vertical Leaders and Partners
  • Identify opportunities to deliver additional value to current clients, creating and managing the business development strategy and executing programs that uncover new opportunities
  • Work with the business development team to prepare proposals and presentations for existing clients
  • Work with the marketing team to strategize on account-based marketing campaigns
  • Prepare regular reports on account performance and client satisfaction for internal stakeholders and clients
  • Report on client up-sell, cross-sell, down-sell, and churn
  • Assist in regular margin and client continuance analysis
  • Analyze client data to provide insights and recommendations for improving service delivery and client satisfaction
  • Develop and execute the client success strategy aligned with company goals to maximize customer retention and expansion
  • Maintain business development targets and sales activities in CRM
  • Represent Cohen & Co at networking events and in public forums

 

Who You Are

 

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, business administration, or related field
  • Minimum of 7 years of experience in client management, preferably within a CPA firm or financial services industry
  • CPA certification preferred
  • A client service delivery orientation and relationship building experience
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills and the ability to gain the confidence and respect of leadership and clients
  • Ability to influence and partner with cross-functional teams in client pursuits
  • Proven ability to manage multiple accounts and projects simultaneously
  • Proven track record of client retention and relationship building
  • Proficiency in CRM and accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite
  • Self-motivated, with high energy and an engaging level of enthusiasm
  • Ability to travel 10-20%

Estimated Salary Range:  $181,905 - $251,922*
