Business Development:

  • Responsible for strategy and growth of the firm’s services to Registered Funds, including identifying market trends, anticipating opportunities, and developing go-to-market strategies/plans
  • Build strong relationships and interact regularly with clients, internal client partners and up-and-coming talent, external industry groups, Centers of Influence, industry Market Leaders in adjacent sectors, and Service Line Leaders – coordinating to align skills with market trends and drive strategic technical leadership hires

Client Experience:

  • Technical excellence in audit and accounting matters for Registered Funds
  • Develop/enhance a comprehensive audit approach to meet the needs of Registered Funds clients
  • Adjust client pricing, strategy, and services as necessary
  • Evaluate engagement performance and metrics
  • Provide leadership to the annual client continuance process, focused on the client relationship and smooth transitions when required

Leadership, Mentorship & Staff Development:

  • Respect and celebrate the value of each of the stories, backgrounds, perspectives, and ideas of each of our team members, building meaningful relationships with all those you interact with
  • Be growth oriented and work towards building a leveraged model, when appropriate
  • Provide mentoring and motivation to the team, including developing young leaders via active contribution to training and development
  • Exhibit forward thinking, innovation, and delivering an exceptional work product

Technical:

  • Perform Senior Manager or Managing Director, assurance reviews and signoff
  • Serve as a go-to resource for technical questions or knowledge
  • Act as a technical and/or business leader both internally and externally
  • Be a student of the Firm, drawing in technical expertise from across the Firm to support pursuits when needed

Who You Are

Required: 

  • Bachelor’s degree required
  • CPA license required
  • Experience working on investment-based clients (L3 valuation and/or closed end interval funds is preferred)
  • 10+ years of progressive experience within audit, preferably in a public accounting firm and including leadership experience with a consistent record of accomplishment and accountability

Estimated Salary Range:  $110,000 - $250,000*
